Basket tour in Hoi An

Locally known as “Thung Chai”, the basket boat is a favourite with local fishermen in central parts of Vietnam. It is a great way to see the local way of life along the peaceful rivers on the Vietnam family tour. They are very mobile and great at transporting people from a large or static boat to the mainland. Plus, the basket boat is a useful tool to help catch fish and is easily spacious enough to accept the fisherman’s supplies, such as food, wood, oil, nets, etc.

A basket boat tour in Hoi An is a very interesting and unique way to really see the authentic way of life of the locals while travelling on the river. This tour is great for both the young and old travellers on the Vietnam travel packages and is certain to be a fun experience for the entire family to enjoy. But, the basket boat isn’t the easiest thing to control and takes a bit of tuition and practice to properly control.
