1.Cai Be floating market.
The Cai Be floating market is located in Cai Be, Tien Giang which is one the largest floating market in this area. It takes around 2,3 hour to go to Cai Be from Sai Gon, so, you can visit this region in one day. This option is good for those who do not have much time. In Cai Be, on a boat trip on Mekong River, you will see shops, barter, taste dishes or seasonal fruits that are sold on ships, which would be a good experience. To get there, it takes one day to transfer and then, as the market is open only in the morning, you have to spend one night in Can Tho. From 5a.m to sunrise, thousands of boats exchange their best products in this province like tangerines, grapefruit, durian, jackfruit, guavas. The Long Xuyen floating market remains the most authentic floating market in the Mekong Delta. This is important market of An Giang region and located at the crossroads of Bassac and Mekong. The market is particularly lively at between 6-7am. It’s worth to visit if you visit Chau Doc and cross to the border of Vietnam and Cambodia.
4. The Ca Mau floating market.
The Ca Mau floating market is located at the intersection of three rivers in Ca Mau province, the extreme point of South Vietnam. That is why this floating market is the meeting point of the boats from the other province.
