Temples/Pagodas Festival is held from 6th to 15th of January annually. They are taken place in almost temples and pagodas in the province, especially in Hoa An district and Cao Bang town. King Le temple festival is held on 6th of 1st lunar month. Da Quan pagoda festival is held on 9th of January in lunar calendar, Ky Sam temple festival (on 10th of January), Sung Phuc pagoda festival (on 15th of Junuary). These festivals worship the God of villages, Buddha, praying for good luck, good fortune, commemorating for great people who helped, protected the villagers. Apart from games such as throwing Con, swinging, etc… this is also a chance for people to visit, picking buds hoping for a good year ahead.
