Nationals of Japan, South Korea and four European countries will get 15-day Vietnam visa exemption from January 1st, 2015.
The nationals of Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Poland will be exempted from Vietnam visa for no more than 15 days regardless of their type of passport, purpose of visit, provided all requirements in accordance with Vietnamese laws are met.
This policy will be valid within 5 years (January 2st, 2015 to December 31st, 2019). 1/1/2015-31/12/2019) and the visa exemption duration will be considered and extended in accordance with Vietnamese legal regulations.
Previously, Vietnam has granted 30-day Vietnam visa exemption to nationals of ASEAN countries (except for nationals of Brunei who get 14-day Vietnam visa exemption).
