Sandals Restaurant is set within Nha Trang’s iconic Sailing Club, offering an eclectic menu of Vietnamese and Mediterranean delicacies made with Pacific Rim ingredients. The stylish beachfront restaurant has an indoor dining area that resembles a massive beach hut that’s furnished with plenty of wicker chairs, wooden tables, and wicker-shaped lamps. For the best seats however, head to the open-air beachfront terrace for its great views of the ocean.
Set between Evason Ana Mandara Nha Trang and Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa, Sandals Restaurant is a popular choice for tourists due to its close proximity to Tran Phu Beach, attentive service, inviting ambience, and quality food-and-drinks menu. Helmed by Chef Phil Ward from the UK, delicacies on offer here include beef tenderloin, grilled salmon, and oven-roasted seabass.
A must-try for seafood lovers is the Sandals Seafood Platter, a generous-sized appetizer which comprises of lobster, garlic butter prawns, calamari, fish and mussels. Fruit juices, coffee, and tea as well as imported wines, beers, and spirits are also available at Sandals Restaurant.
Lastly, we highly recommend the chocolate and ginger fondant, which offers a distinctively Asian take on the classic French dessert. The decadent dish comprises of a moist chocolate sponge cake with melted chocolate in the centre, and served with a scoop of coconut and Thai basil ice-cream.
Open daily, Sandals Restaurant at Sailing Club may be pricier compared to similar dining venues in Nha Trang, but it is well worth the extra expense. After dinner, you can also enjoy the sunset view whilst lounging on cosy sunbeds or beanbags set along the private beach area.
