Mu Koh Poda

Mu Koh Poda

Situated south of Ao Nang, 8 kilometres offshore, Mu Koh Poda is fringed by clear waters, and offers white sandy beaches, as well as, pristine coral reefs. This is why it is a year-round attraction and an excellent place for fishing because it is not affected so much by the monsoon.

Mu Koh Poda includes Koh Poda, Koh Kai, Koh Thab and Koh Mo, the four islands for one day tour which is Krabis most popular tour program. It is a convenient trip to touch the wonderful beaches without much payment. You can stay at various residences of Ao Nang Bay and rent the long-tailed boats for the trip.
Koh Poda: The largest island of very long beach stretching to the very clear water known as the paradise for sunbathers. There are some activities provided like kayaking but only swimming is worthwhile.

Koh Kai or Koh Dam Kwan: Koh Kai or Koh Dam Kwan: Having the long beach connecting with Koh Thab and Koh Mo. During low tide, the sand bar will appear linking the three islands together looking like the sea is divided. This special scene is so-called one of the unseen destinations in Thailand.

The skin diving areas are at the north and east of Koh Poda, at the west of Koh Kai, and at the east of Koh Thab where some coral reefs are found.

Nowadays, Mu Koh Poda is still the destination for Krabi tourists. These wonderful islands located near the shore make a convenient trip within one day.
