By visiting Phong Nha in March, April and May, visitors also have the opportunity to admire a multitude of beautiful butterflies.

The Phong Nha cave and the Phong Nha - Ke Bàng National Park were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003 for their exceptional geological and geomorphological values.
