Vietnam is among the ten destinations in the world expected to attract the largest number of tourists in 2017, according to the Discovery website.

According to the Discovery website, Vietnam has many magnificent landscapes, rice fields, beautiful beaches and fascinating motorcycle routes. Another attraction is the impressive cuisine that all people visiting Vietnam enjoy with enthusiasm, Discovery said.

In addition to Vietnam, New Zealand, Oman, Poland, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, Myanmar, Hawaii, and New York are also on the list.

In 2016, the number of foreign tourists in Vietnam exceeded 10 million, an increase of more than 25% over one year. Last year, the number of travelers from most markets grew, especially in the North – East Asian countries such as China, Japan and the Republic of Korea. A strong increase in the number of tourists from Western European countries, including Italy, the UK, France, Germany and Spain which enjoys a visa exemption, was also recorded in 2016.

This year, Vietnam has set itself the goal of hosting 11.5 million foreigners and serving 66 million Vietnamese, and achieving a turnover of 460,000 billion Dong.
