Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) (G)

Your Vietnam photography tour would not be complete without a trip to Halong Bay - the world natural heritage and one of the seventh wonders of the world. The tour to Halong bay takes around 3,5 hours and we can stop on the way to take photos of the people working on the rice fields. On arrival, board the overnight cruise ship to explore Halong bay. The detailed cruise ship's itinerary will be sent when you request this tour because there are many different cruises to choose in Halong. We will pick one that suits your budget. The activities on board are visiting caves, kayaking, fishing, cooking, learning Ta Chi, etc. Overnight on board.

Day 07

Halong Bay - Phu Lang village - Hanoi Airport (Brunch) (G)

The cruise ship comes back to the pier at around 11am, we pick you up for the drive back to Hanoi airport for your departure. If time permitted, let's visit Phu Lang porttery village in Bac Ninh province, an interesting place to learn how to make daily-used Ceramics as well as another chance to experience rural Vietnam. Day 01

Hanoi Arrival (G)

The north of Vietnam is beautiful and blessed with rich culture, stunning rice terraces. Photos of north Vietnam have won at many national and international photography contests or used by magazines, newspapers,etc. This "Mystical North Vietnam Tour" designed to cover the highlights. Started from Hanoi on your arrival day, our driver and tour guide will welcome you at the airport and take you to the hotel. A short briefing to the and you are free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 02

Tho Ha ancient village - Bo Da pagoda - Old Quarter Photo Tour (B/L) (G)

Tho Ha ancient village is located in Bac Giang province, not far away from Hanoi. The village is famous for its traditional handicraft, houses, pagoda, etc. A place to see an authentic Vietnam and to have some unique photos. Next will be Bo Da pagoda (built in 11th century), a national national relic site, having great value of history and culture. The pagoda has unique architecture which is different from any other pagodas in Vietnam. Around noon, drive back to Hanoi for lunch before taking a walking tour to taste Hanoi's street food and explore life of Hanoians around the old quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 03

Hanoi - Van Long Natural Reserve - Tam Coc - Mai Chau (B/L/D) (G)

Ninh Binh is a picturesque province of the northeast Vietnam and has several places to visit and today, for your photography tour, we take you to Van Long natural reserve for a beautiful sampan trip. Van Long is chosen place for many Vietnamese couples to shoot wedding photos. Not Long ago, the Hollywood's skull island filmed here. We continue our trip to Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam to get a glimpse of Vietnamese history before heading to Tam Coc - the Halong bay on rice paddy fields for another 2,5 hour boat trip to explore 3 caves. On the way back, take a walk to Thai Vy temple that located in a tranquil setting. Time for photos. Picked up and drive back to Mai Chau valley where you will stay overnight in a homestay.

Day 04

Mai Chau - Mu Cang Chai Homestay (B/L/D) (G)

This early morning, cycle around Poom Coong and Lac village of the White Thai minority. There is chance to take photos of people's daily life, sunrise and rice fields. After breakfast, drive all the way to Mu Cang Chai on a meandering road dotted with charming ethnic villages and rice terraces. On arrival, check in a homestay. Overnight in Mu Cang Chai.

Day 05

Mu Cang Chai Photo Tour - Sapa (B/L) (G)

Mu Cang Chai has been recognised as national heritage site of Vietnam as it is blessed with the most stunning rice terraces of the northwest. Photographers from all over the country flock to this place during harvesting time in September every year. This morning is free for you to take best photos. Around noon, drive to Sapa with many scenic stops on the way. Check in and overnight in a hotel in Sapa.

Day 06

Sapa Photo Tour (B/L) (G)

The Sapa photo tour starts anytime you want, but if the the sky is blue and clea, wake up at 5am to take photos of the stunning mountains before having breakfast. At around 8am, tour guide and car escorted you to Sa Seng - Hau Thao village before coming to Muong Hoa valley, it is possible to stop where you want for photos. At Lao Chai village, let's take a walk to Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai village as this is where you will see the most stunning rice terraces and have time to visit ethnic villages of the Black H'Mong, Day, Red Dao people. Have picnic lunch on the way. Drive back to Sapa. Free time for photos.

Day 07

Sapa - Y Ty Photo Tour (B/L/D) (G)

Y Ty is little known by tourists, but it is an amazing place for photographers. The beauty of Y Ty is picturesque mountains with cloud, gorgeous rice terraces and villages. The travel site thrillist.com has listed Y TY the BEST secret travel destination in the north of Vietnam. Today, we drive to Y Ty from Sapa which takes around 3 hours. The rest of the day, time for photos. Overnight in Y Ty in a guesthouse.

Day 08

Y Ty - Coc Ly, Can Cau or Bac Ha Market (B/L) (G)

Free morning for you to take photos then drive to Bac Ha market in the afternoon. Check in a hotel in Bac Ha. If time permitted, take walk around Ban Pho village of the Flower H'Mong and the Nung minority. Overnight in Bac Ha.

Day 09

Bac Ha - Vu Linh Village (B/L/D) (G)

Bac Ha is the largest market of the ethnic groups living in the region. The market is once a week on every Sunday. Visiting Bac Ha, photopgraphers will definitely enjoy the market and have opportunity to meet several ethnic groups who are in colorful clothes. The market is not only for trading local products, bul also for meeting friends, having good time with home-made wine. Bac Ha market is ideal place for photos of life. After lunch in a local restaurant, drive back to Vu Linh village - A picturesque village located by the bank of Thac Ba lake. Tonight, we stay in a homestay.

Vu Linh - Hanoi (B/L) (G)

Early morning photo tour with the boat trip to explore the lake, see people fishing and rowling boat with their feet. Around noon, drive back to Hanoi.

Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) (G)
