This excursion “Hanoi – Sapa – Halong bay in 6 days” is designed for those who want to combiner luxury vacation and adventure tour in Vietnam. This tour will take you to the northwest of the country by a night train for a stay in the most luxurious hotel in Sapa. In the evening, our guide will pick you up and take you to the Hanoi train station at 120 Le Duan Str., Hanoi, in order to take the overnight train to Lao Cai departing at 21:55.
The train arrives at Lao Cai station around 6 am. Our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to Sapa. Although Sapa is only 33 km away, the journey is about 1h30. Once arrived in Sapa, we will settle down at your hotel where you can refresh yourself and breakfast, then discover the city by yourself. Around 10 am, a walk will begin and you will go to the mountain villages and you will discover Cat Cat tribes with H'mong ethnic minorities. On the road to the villages, nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will encounter premises going or returning from Sapa. We will have the opportunity to share unique cultural experiences with families living in this area. Overnight in Sapa.
After breakfast, we will explore the daily market of Sapa and we will follow a 3-4 hour trek that will take us on the footsteps of the buffalo and the tribes of Lao Chai and Tavan, Dzay. It is a spectacular walk through the landscapes inhabited by only a few native, friendly people you may encounter. We will picnic on our way to a family in the village of Ta Van. Overnight in Sapa.
In the morning we will climb Ham Rong Mountain, which will offer you a magnificent panoramic view of Sapa and its surroundings, and you can explore the two orchid gardens. Check-out at the hotel. We then go to the Ta Phin valley, home to the ethnic Red Dao and H'mong ethnic minorities. Transfer to Lao Cai station to take the night train to Hanoi. The train leaves at 21:05 and you arrive at 5am the next day in Hanoi.
Upon arrival at the train station, you will be transferred to the restaurant for breakfast. You will leave Hanoi at 8:30 am in a private vehicle and arrive in Halong Bay at 12:30. The staff of cruise will greet you on board and you will be able to enjoy a welcome cocktail before checking in. At 1 pm you will be served a seafood meal and we will start our 3:30 am cruise through the mystical Halong Bay to discover the impressive karsts with their many different cheeses, Mat Qui Island (the face of a monster) , The But Moc islet, the Cap De islet, the Trong cave, the Trinh Nu cave, the floating fishing village with its unique way of life. You will then head to the Luon Cave where you can enjoy a swim and sunbath at Ti Top Beach or climb the mountain to admire the breathtaking panoramic view of Halong Bay . For dinner, you can enjoy a new seafood feast, there is an option to discover the joys of night fishing. Night aboard the boat.
After waking up to the sound of the water, we will enjoy a hearty breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while admiring the beauty of the rocky islands that mingle with the emerald water of the bay. You can then explore the Sung Sot cave (from 8 am to 9 am), bathe and relax at the Soi Sim beach. Around 9:30 am, our cruise ship will be back on the jetty while a brunch will be served from 10:30 to 11:30. We will continue our cruise through the bay and we will be able to admire all the way fascinating all the way. Check-out at 11:45. Our boat will arrive at the port around noon for our return to Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel. End of the excursion.
