1. Cat Cat village

Located about 2km from Sapa town, this village attracts a lot of visitors in every year. The village now is developed to be a tourist area, a traditional destination for everyone. Cat Cat also keeps many traditional handicrafts such as weaving fabrics, planting cotton, etc.

2. Ta phin village
Located about 17km in the west of Sapa, Ta Phin village is a home of Red Dao's people with a rich culture, where has not been damaged by the modern life.
The road to Ta Phin would be quite difficult for cars, so the best choice is to hire a "xe om" to get brand-new experiences.
Coming to Ta Phin, it's very easy to see the imagines of Red Dao's women in colorful costume. They gather together and keep inside their hand colorful reels of thread and cloths. Traditionally, the village is famous for its hand-made products. All kinds of products are eye-catching with multi-colors and patterns, ranging from bag, scarf, purse, skirt, to packpack and even coat. The village is also the main suppliers for brocades shops in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

3. Lao Chai village
Lao Chai village: Located 6km far from the centre town, Lao Chai village is home of the black H'mong people where is also the beginning of Muong Hoa valley. The village brings visitors the marvelous panorama, backed by high mountains and facing the river.
Visiting Lao Chai village, travelers will have a chance to enjoy the fresh atmosphere, admire the beauty of terrace paddy-fields, and learn more the culture and costume of people there.

4. Ta Van village
Being far from Sapa less than 10km, Ta Van is a peaceful village in Muong Hoa valley.
To reach Ta Van village, visitors will pass aross the small and narrow road that has beautiful terrace paddy-fields.
People there mainly live by growing rice, corn, by producing instruments and by engraving silver. Their costumes are simple. Women wear short eczema, cloth bag with embroidered flowers. Men also wear pants and shirt. If you have a chance to visit there, you can enjoy some special dishes of Giay people such as: roast fish of Muong Hum, horse meat of Muong Khuong, sticky rice of Van Ban, ect. Besides, you can join festivals, folk games like Nao Cong, Roong Pooc.

5. Fansipan mountain
Known as "the Roof of Indochina" at the height of 3.143 meters of Hoang Lien Son mountain range, Fansipan Mountain is one of the very few eco-tourist spots of Vietnam with about 2.024 floral varieties and 327 faunal species.
Every year, the mountain attracts very few young people who love adventure and want to conquer the height of mountain. It will take about four or five days to reach the peak of mountain. During the way to conquer the highest point, visitor can enjoy breathtaking views and discover mountain’s ecosystem.
Visitors can arrange a trekking tour to conquer Fansipan all year around, but the best time is from the end of February to the start of March when all flowers bloom with many color.
Note: In order to conquer the Fansipan, visitor should prepare well the heath in advance, bring enough food and find a local guide as well.
