Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Upon arrival, our private Vietnam Tour guide and driver will welcome your Vietnam Holiday, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in. Hanoi, a city where the exotic chic of old Asia blends with the dynamic face of new Asia. Where the medieval and modern co-exist. Day 2: Hanoi – Vulinh (180 km, 6 hours riding)
After breakfast, we will start one of the most beautiful Vietnam Motorcycle Tours to Thac Ba Lake (Vu Linh village) which has an area of 23,400 ha and 1,331 islands and hills with diverse ecological environments. The water in the lake is blue and clear, and imprinted with the reflections of the surrounding ancient forest. On arrival to Vu Linh ethnic village of Dao minority by the side of the lake, it is your time to do leisure walk to explore this beautiful village and people life.
Tonight, the welcome is exceptional with a lot of local rice-wine from the host is surely one of the highlights of the trip. Overnight in homestay.

Day 3: Vu Linh – Ba Be Lake (180 km, 6 hours riding)
Today we continue to Babe lake & national park where the landscape is amazing and the homestay is another unique experience. Upon your arrival, you are free at leisure to do the boat trip (own expense) or walk to explore the village of the Tay people. Overnight in homestay of a Tay family.

Day 4: Ba Be Lake – Bao Lac (150 km, 6 hours riding)
This morning is free to explore the village by a walking visit or doing boat trip. Continue to Bac Lac with visit to some roadside markets on the way. Overnight in Bac Lac
Day 5: Bao Lac – Dong Van (100 km, 3 hours riding)
After the breakfast, let spend your time to visit a local market in town before riding to Dong Van. The highlight will be the Ma Phi Leng pass, very high but offering great feeling and amzing view. Upon arrival, check in your hotel. Overnight in Dong Van.

Day 6: Dong Van – Ha Giang (145 km, 5 hours riding)

Day 7: Ha Giang – Bac Ha (200 km, 7 hours riding)
Today’s ride to Bac Ha via Hoang Su Phi and Xin Man on curving road and with great view from the “Winding Pass” over the imposing mountains that dotted with many ethnic villages. The beautiful day will end up in Bac Ha in a hotel.

Day 8: Bac Ha – Sapa Tour (120 km, 5 hours riding)

Day 10: Sapa – Muong Lay (200 km, 7 hours riding)
After breakfast, we leave Sapa for Muong Lay, formerly known as Lai Chau, this small town is nestled in a pretty valley carved from spectacular mountains by the Da River. We will visit “Silver Waterfall”, “Heaven Gate” and many interesting ethnic villages and markets on the way. We end up this beautiful day in Muong Lay in a hotel.

Day 11: Muong Lay – Dien Bien (105 km, 3 hours riding)
Moning boat trip to explore Black river and some ethnic villages before our ride to Dien Bien (the decisive battle in the Indochina War). Upon arrival, we visit some historical sites such as Dien Bien Phu Museum, the bunker headquarters of French commander, Colonel Christian de Casties, A1 hill-where bitter fighting took place. Overnight in Dien Bien.

Day 12: Dien Bien – Laos (Muong Khoa) (120 km, 4 hours riding)
Today, we cross Tay Trang border to Laos, heading to Muong Khoa, a small lovely town by Nam U River. The ride to Muong Khoa is very difficult on dirt road but interesting and fun. Overnight in Muong Khoa.

Day 13: Muong Khoa – Pak Beng (220 km, 6 hours riding)
Lao is a green country, during the day, you will see green hills and mountains, via Uodomxay, the heart of north Laos, we continue to Pak Beng with stunning view of Lao mountains and countryside. Upon arrival, check in a guest house in Pak Beng. Overnight in Bak Beng.

Day 14: Pak Beng – Luong
Prabang (8 hour boat trip)
After breakfast, we take the boat trip down majestic MeKong River to Luong Prabang. The boat trip will take around 8 hours so this will be the day at leisure. Overnight in Luong Prabang.

Day 15: Luong Prabang
Free day at leisure for your own visit Luong Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995, the town of Luang Prabang is not only known for its fusion of Lao and French colonial architecture but also for its many Buddhist temples. Most visitors come here to relax and soak up the atmosphere while enjoying a cold Lao beer and a warm French baguette. Overnight in Luong Prabang.

Day 16: Luong Pra Bang – Phonsavan – The plain of Jars (250 km, 7 hours riding)
A long day of riding up and down the mountains of Laos to Xieng Khoang. Upon arrival, visit the Plain of Jars which is a large group of historic cultural sites in Laos containing thousands of stone jars. This area is very famous during the Vietnam War and Secret War. Today, you can still see many vestiges even at the hotel.

Day 17: Phonsavan – Vieng Xay (260 km, 8 hours riding)
Continue the trip to Vieng Xay- The former Pathet Lao (PL) revolutionary headquarters of Vieng Xay sit in a striking valley of fertile hills and limestone cliffs riddled with caves, several of which were used to shelter PL officers during the Second Indochina War. The town is famous for the caves in which the stoic officers and some 23, 000 people found shelter, but Vieng Xai itself is unbearably pretty. Manmade lakes spot the landscape and wildflowers explode in crimson and yellow to join the emerald and karst backdrop. The beauty of the terrain somehow underscores the decimation it suffered during the American bombing campaign. Overnight in Vieng Xay.

Day 18: Vieng Xay – Mai Chau (250 km, 8 hours riding)
Beautiful ride on the village road and picturesque mountains to Na Neo border gate, back to Vietnam again, continue to Mai Chau, and idyllic valley populated by mainly White Thai ethnic people and the valley is characterized with beautiful limestone mountains.
In the evening, we can enjoy a local dinner and overnight in a beautiful village at the edge of a river. After dinner, you can spend the evening sitting together around a fire and join in a Thai traditional music show. In their traditional attire, typical of their culture, Thai women invite visitors to participate in the Xoe dance. To the rhythmical and ebullient music, the hosts and guests will dance for hours hand-in-hand. When they get tired, they stop for a while to drink special sticky rice liquor called "ruou can". Visitors who participate in the Xoe dance once, especially by the light of a fire at night are likely to remember it forever.

Day 21: Hanoi – Halong Cruise ~ 165 km by car
This morning, after breakfast, we drive to Halong Bay (165km, one of Vietnam’s, and indeed Southeast Asia’s, most spectacular natural attractions, whose staggering beauty has seen it listed as one of the eight natural wonders of the world. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay, highlight of any Vietnam Tours, presents a quite extraordinary vista of hundreds of limestone islands (over 1600 at last count) that rise from the jade green waters of the bay like the scales of some great submerged dragon. Indeed Halong means ‘where the dragon descends to the sea’ and local legends tells of a time when this rugged landscape was created by the pounding tail of a mighty dragon as he ran from the mountains into the glittering waters of the bay below.
Upon arrival, board your traditional wooden junk. Welcome drink on board. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the wonderful Ha Long bay visiting its amazing grottoes and caves. Opportunity to dive off the boat and have a pleasant swimming in the deep blue water of East Sea before relaxing on your sun deck to view a Halong sunset. Day 22: Halong Cruise – Hanoi

Imagine 3000 or more incredible islands rising from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin and you have a vision of breathtaking beauty.
